The Eagles organization released a statement expressing their deepest condolences to the victims and their families, saying they are “heartbroken” to hear of the tragic loss of life. The team also acknowledged the “heroic actions” of the first responders at the scene.

The plane, operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, was scheduled to fly from Philadelphia to Tijuana, with a stop in Springfield, Missouri for fuel. The cause of the crash is not yet known.

The incident has drawn reactions from notable figures, including former President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, who both took to social media to offer their condolences.

The crash comes just days after a separate incident in which an American Airlines passenger plane collided mid-air with an Army Black Hawk Helicopter, resulting in 67 deaths.
