PGA star Jason Day’s unusual attire sparks social media controversy at Pebble Beach.

Jason Day’s On-Course Attire Draws Criticism

Jason Day has been pushing the boundaries with his on-course attire lately, but his outfit on Sunday at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am may have crossed the line for some fans. The Australian golfer wore a full gray sweatsuit, prompting a stir and drawing comparisons to Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman.

Many fans took to social media to express their disapproval, with some calling it an “insult to the game” and others saying it’s not an option for professional golfers. Despite his partnership with Malbon Golf, which aims to de-country-club the golf look, Day’s outfit may have been too much for some.

Day entered the final round of the tournament seven strokes back of leader Sepp Straka, but his fashion choice was the talk of the day. The former World No. 1 has one win within the last seven years, taking home the 2023 Byron Nelson.
