A Peruvian Police Officer Dressed as the Grinch to Lead a Drug Bust
A Peruvian police officer took part in a drug bust operation by dressing up as the Grinch, as reported by CNN News Central. The officer’s clever disguise allowed him to go unnoticed while mingling with a neighborhood for a Christmas event, ultimately leading to the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of multiple types of drugs.
Anchor Kate Bolduan reported on the story, showing a video clip of the officer, dressed in a green furry Grinch costume and a Santa suit, using a sledgehammer to bust through a door and handcuff the suspects. The Grinch’s festive attire allowed the officer to avoid detection while conducting the raid.
This is not the first time Peruvian police have used costumes when conducting raids during the holiday season. In 2020, officers dressed as Santa Claus and an elf and arrested four people in another drug raid.
