Green Bay Packers Pick Up Crucial Win Over Seattle Seahawks, Improve Playoff Chances

The Green Bay Packers picked up a crucial 30-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night, improving their playoff chances to 10-4 on the year. The victory moves the Packers ahead in the wild card race, while the Seahawks fall out of first place in the NFC West.

The Packers got off to a hot start, with star running back Josh Jacobs finding holes in the Seahawks’ defense and rushing for a one-yard touchdown early in the game. Quarterback Jordan Love also threw a quick pass to Romeo Doubs for a 13-yard touchdown, giving the Packers a 14-3 lead.

The Seahawks struggled to find success on offense, with Geno Smith throwing an interception and only managing three points in the first half. However, the Seahawks were able to get back in the game in the second half, holding the Packers’ run game to just 47 yards and forcing several three-and-outs.

Despite the Seahawks’ efforts, the Packers were able to hold on, with Doubs catching a second touchdown pass from Love in the end zone to seal the win. Love finished the game 20-of-27 for 229 yards, while Jacobs had 94 rushing yards on 26 carries and 42 yards through the air on four catches.

For the Seahawks, Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the team with 10 catches for 83 yards, while the team struggled to generate any significant rushing yards, only managing 80 on the ground. The loss drops the Seahawks to 8-6 on the year, behind the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West standings.
