Noelle Selasie Breault is accused of shooting five people in a New Orleans Starbucks café alone.

The investigation into the New Orleans federal courthouse attack on May 31, 2019, is still ongoing, and it’s not clear if the suspect acted alone. The suspect, Gregory LaLonde, 71, has been charged with four federal counts, including attempted murder of a federal law enforcement officer and destruction of federal property.

LaLonde was taken into custody after a high-speed chase through the French Quarter, where he allegedly used an AR-15 rifle to fire on the FBI’s New Orleans Field Office. Authorities believe that he may have acted alone, but the investigation has uncovered evidence that raises questions about whether he had accomplices.

According to sources close to the investigation, LaLonde was known to be a lone wolf with a history of anti-government and white supremacist beliefs. Authorities believe that his motivations for the attack were likely ideological, rather than financially motivated.

Despite this, the FBI is still exploring whether LaLonde may have had accomplices, known as “lookouts” or “getaways,” who may have helped him to orchestrate the attack. Agents are reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing data from LaLonde’s electronic devices in an attempt to piece together the events of that day.

If LaLonde acted alone, it would be a disturbing example of an individual with extreme beliefs being radicalized and inspired to take action. However, if he had accomplices, it would heighten concerns about a larger threat and the potential for copycats.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help them piece together the events of that fateful day. As the FBI continues to analyze the evidence and interview witnesses, they are working to uncover the truth behind this bold and brazen attack on the United States.
