The NBA Season is Here: Who Will Win the MVP Award?
As the NBA season gets underway, it’s the perfect time to dive into the regular-season MVP market. Nikola Jokic, who has won the award three out of the last four seasons, is looking to make history by winning four out of five. He would be the third player to accomplish this feat, joining Celtics legend Bill Russell and LeBron James, who achieved the same feat in the past.
Jokic is currently top three in the league in points, rebounds, and assists, and at +400, he’s a strong contender for the award. His current numbers are impressive, as he’s averaging 30.3 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 11.3 assists, while shooting 56.8% from the field and 56.3% from beyond the arc.
Other contenders include Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Edwards, and Anthony Davis. The Celtics, Thunder, and Celtics are all having great seasons, which could play a big role in the MVP voting.
The competition is fierce, and it’s too early to predict a clear winner. However, Jokic’s incredible statistics and consistent performance make him a strong candidate. Follow along with FOX Sports for the latest news and updates on the NBA and other sports to stay informed on the MVP debate.
