Eric Davis, a Fox NFL reporter, is opening up about his life-changing heart disease diagnosis. Davis, who has been covering the NFL for over two decades, shared his story in an emotional social media post earlier this week.

According to Davis, he had been experiencing fatigue and shortness of breath, which he initially brushed off as symptoms of age and hard work. However, after undergoing a series of tests, doctors diagnosed him with coronary artery disease.

“I never thought I’d be the one who would have a heart problem,” Davis wrote on Instagram. “I thought it was for the older guys, not someone like me who was still in his 50s and had no family history.”

Davis revealed that he had two blockages in his coronary arteries, which was a major wake-up call. He underwent surgery to clear the blockages and is now undergoing physical therapy to regain his strength.

Despite the challenges he is facing, Davis is determined to make the best of the situation. He encouraged his followers to take care of their health and not to wait until it’s too late.

“Get checked out, even if you think you’re fine,” Davis urged. “Trust me, it’s worth it. Life is too short, and we’re all gonna die someday. But it’s the quality of that life that matters.”

Davis’ heartfelt post has resonated with many, including his fellow Fox NFL reporters. Mike Garafolo, a fellow Fox reporter, commented on Davis’ post, saying, “Eric, you’re a warrior, and I’m honored to be in the same league as you. Get well soon, my friend.”

As Davis continues his journey to recovery, he is reminding everyone that health is the greatest wealth, and it’s never too late to take control of it.
