According to the Geiger Counter World Map, two areas in the New York metro area have been flagged as red, with radiation levels over the 200 counts-per-minute safety threshold.
Gordon Chang, author of Plan Red: China’s Project to Destroy America, believes the drones may be hunting for a nuclear warhead that went “missing” during the Cold War. He draws parallels between the current drone “flap” and the 2023 “spy balloon” crisis, both of which he sees as evidence of the failure of the federal government to protect the American people.
Chang suggests that China’s leadership is now ready to go to war against America, and warns that recent reassurances made by the authorities have been of no help. He argues that Americans need to be prepared for the worst and that the President of the United States should level with the public about what the government knows and doesn’t know.
Chang speculates that the drones may be flown by the Department of Homeland Security or the FBI to hunt for nuclear warheads and warns that if the danger is serious enough, the US may take emergency action. He cautions that the detonation of a nuclear device on US soil would cause widespread panic and chaos, making it difficult for the government to care for its citizens.
He urges Americans to be prepared by stockpiling food, water, and iodine pills, and to recognize that the world is no longer a peaceful place. Chang believes that a third world war has already begun, with Russia and China engaged in conflicts and wars on three continents, and that the President of the United States must have an honest conversation with the American people about the state of the world.
