Netflix faces holiday pressure with its Christmas Day NFL streaming lineup.

The NFL is giving fans a special Christmas present: two high-profile matchups between AFC contenders with plenty of playoff implications. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, and the Baltimore Ravens will face the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. ET. Both games will stream exclusively on Netflix.

This is the first time an NFL game has been streamed exclusively on Netflix, and Netflix is under a lot of pressure to ensure that the viewing experience is smooth for fans. Netflix subscribers have complained about glitches and technical issues in the past, including during the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight in November.

The Chiefs and Steelers are both playoff-bound teams, and the game has a lot of playoff implications. The Chiefs are fighting for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which would grant them a bye week in the first round of the playoffs. The Steelers, on the other hand, are trying to win the AFC North title and secure a playoff spot.

The Ravens-Texans matchup also has plenty of playoff implications. The Texans are fighting for a playoff spot and a division title, while the Ravens are trying to clinch the AFC North title and secure a top seed in the playoffs.

In addition to the games, Netflix will also be broadcasting a halftime performance by Beyoncé. This will be the first time a halftime performance will be streamed on Netflix, and it’s sure to be a big draw for fans.

Overall, the NFL’s Christmas Day games on Netflix are shaping up to be a big event. With plenty of playoff implications, high-profile teams, and a special halftime performance, it’s sure to be a day to remember for NFL fans.
