Nelly: St. Lunatics Pull Out of $50M Lawsuit, Ali Pushes Ahead
According to recent reports, St. Lunatics, Nelly’s record label and management team, have opted to drop a $50 million lawsuit against Nelly. The dispute was believed to be a contractual one, with details remaining largely under wraps. However, it appears the parties involved have reached an amicable resolution, at least with regards to this particular matter.
On the other hand, Nelly’s cousin and fellow musician, City Spud (real name Jamal Rashid), seems to be bucking this trend. The rapper is reportedly pushing ahead with a separate lawsuit of his own against Nelly. Rashid claims Nelly has denied him royalties earned from St. Lunatics’ albums.
