ić’s Home Burglarized During Game

Luka Don
ić’s home was broken into on Friday night, his business manager, Lara Beth Seager, confirmed to ESPN. Nobody was home at the time of the burglary, and everyone is safe. This comes after several NFL players, including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow, had their homes burglarized in recent weeks.

The FBI is investigating the crime spree, which is believed to be tied to a South American crime syndicate. The NFL had previously cautioned players to be on high alert after homes were targeted last month that were believed to be tied to international organized crime.

Don
ić’s Dallas Mavericks were in Phoenix on Friday playing against the Suns when the burglary occurred. The NBA star had previously sustained a calf strain and is expected to miss about a month due to the injury.

The NFL had previously sent a memo to players urging them to take precautions, including installing home security systems and not posting images of expensive items or live updates of their whereabouts on social media. The league is also encouraging players to be cautious when posting about their personal lives on social media.

This incident has left many players feeling uneasy and concerned about their privacy. “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share. So, that’s all I got to say about that,” Burrow said earlier this month.
