N.O.R.E.’s Claim He Was Sued Over Beef Resurfaces Amid Drake Issues
N.O.R.E. is reiterating his claim that he was once sued by his former business partner over a supposed beef, in the midst of his current issues with Drake. In a recent episode of his podcast, “This Is Hip Hop,” N.O.R.E. brought up the alleged lawsuit, saying that his former business partner, who he didn’t name, sued him for breach of contract and misappropriation of funds.
N.O.R.E. stated that the lawsuit was related to their issues over a certain brand of low-carb, sugar-free energy drinks they were developing together. He claimed that they had a falling out and his partner wanted to take the brand in a different direction without his involvement. N.O.R.E. alleged that his partner wanted to sell out to a large corporation and dilute the brand’s message, which he saw as a betrayal.
The rapper said that he had to go to court to protect his investment and the brand, ultimately winning the case. He also mentioned that his partner tried to discredit him by using some dirty tactics, but he was able to prove in court that he was the rightful owner of the brand.
This recent claim comes amid N.O.R.E.’s ongoing feud with Drake, with whom he has a long-standing beef that started several years ago. The two rappers have been trading diss tracks and shots at each other, with N.O.R.E. accusing Drake of being insincere and fake.
