Mysterious Glowing Orbs Spotted in Minnesota Skies

Recent reports of drones hovering over New York and New Jersey have been followed by sightings of mysterious glowing orbs in the skies above Minnesota. Video footage uploaded by Fox News shows two orbs floating in the sky, eventually moving around before disappearing.

Eyewitness Deborah Wagner from Northfield, Minnesota, described the orbs as “glowing” and said they would move away whenever anyone tried to follow them. Her daughter Chrissy Graddy has also seen the lights, which she recorded on her cell phone while out with her children.

Graddy’s video shows the orbs hovering with lights blinking against the night sky. Her children can be heard saying “It’s really low. I’m gonna follow it! There’s another one up there!” Graddy said the orbs would move away whenever they spotted them, and would often come and hover before leaving.

The sightings have led to speculation online and in the media, with theories ranging from the orbs being some kind of weather phenomenon to more nefarious theories, including that they originated from Iran. The Pentagon has denied this.

The FBI’s Newark Field Office, which is leading the investigation into the sightings, has released a statement saying that they are doing all they can to figure out what’s going on, but have no further information to provide at the moment.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has said that it received reports of drone activity near Morris County, New Jersey, on Monday, and has published two Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) prohibiting drone flights over Picatinny Arsenal Military Base and Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

The FAA works with federal and local law enforcement partners to educate them about how to respond to unsafe or unauthorized drone operations, and has the authority to fine operators up to $75,000 and suspend or revoke their pilot certificates.

The FBI has asked residents to report any sightings and to share any videos or photos they may have by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI or submitting them online at tips@fbi.gov.
