Mysterious Drones Spotted in New Jersey, FBI and Local Police Investigating

Ad

A series of mysterious drones have been spotted in New Jersey in recent weeks, with the most recent sighting reported on November 18. The FBI and local police are investigating the drone sightings, which have been reported nightly in several New Jersey counties. The drones have been described as being significantly larger than those flown by hobbyists, with some eyewitnesses comparing their size to that of small cars.

An unverified video posted on social media allegedly shows the aftermath of a drone crash. The video, which was filmed at night, appears to show flames and smoke emerging from the side of a road. It is not clear who originally posted the video, but it has been reshared across YouTube, TikTok, and X, formerly Twitter.

The Pine Beach Police Department, where the incident is reported to have happened, has acknowledged the drone sightings but has not confirmed that one crashed. The New Jersey State Police has also been contacted for comment.

The drones have been spotted above several locations, including Picatinny Arsenal, a military research and manufacturing facility, and President-elect Donald Trump’s golf course in Bedminster. The Federal Aviation Administration has temporarily banned drones from flying over the military base in Morris County and Trump’s golf club.

Local authorities have expressed concern over the drones’ presence, with the chief of the Florham Park Police Department describing their presence as “nefarious in nature.” One family reported that a drone hovered above them, causing their car’s clock to change time, only to change back when they drove away.

The sightings have sparked widespread speculation about the origin and purpose of the drones, with many wondering if they pose an imminent threat. While there is no evidence to indicate that the drones pose an immediate threat, authorities are taking the sightings seriously and are working to investigate and determine the origin and purpose of the drones.
