Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett is open to continuing his career with the team, but it’s unclear if the franchise will have a place for him in their rebuilding plans. The Browns have three games remaining in the regular season and are currently last in the AFC North division with just three wins.
The team’s struggles have continued despite a strong performance from Garrett, who is under contract until 2026. Garrett emphasized his desire to win and compete at a high level, stating that he is not interested in being part of a rebuild at this point in his career.
While the option to play for another NFL team is possible, Garrett expressed his desire to stay with the Browns, stating, “I want to be a Cleveland Brown. I want to play here, play my career here.” However, he also indicated that he would consider leaving if the team’s approach in the near future does not align with his own goals.
The Browns’ struggles are largely attributed to uneven play from quarterback Deshaun Watson, who suffered a season-ending injury in October. The team’s inability to find a consistent solution at the quarterback position has significantly impacted their chances of having a winning season. With two more seasons remaining on his contract, Garrett’s future with the Browns is uncertain, and a possible trade could be in the works at some point before the 2026 season.
