Minnesota Vikings Star Wide Receiver K.J. Jefferson Looks to Break Through in Postseason

Last season, Jefferson played in the playoffs, hosting the New York Giants and falling 31-24. While he recorded seven catches for 47 yards, he knows that he needs to deliver a standout performance in this year’s matchup against the Rams to help guide the Vikings to the Divisional Round. Coming off a regular season where they had a chance to clinch the NFC No. 1 seed, Minnesota’s playoff journey begins on the road due to wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

On a personal note, Jefferson was honored with a unanimous selection to the 2024 NFL All-Pro Team, a distinction shared with his former LSU teammate and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Reflecting on his achievement, Jefferson expressed gratitude for his journey so far and praise for Chase, who won the triple crown of receiving yards, touchdowns, and receptions.

“Definitely proud of him for being the triple crown winner, and to be an All-Pro is definitely special,” Jefferson said. “For us to be on the same team in college, and now we are two All-Pros, first-team All-Pros at that. So, it’s definitely a special bond that we have and it’s crazy that we played alongside each other at one point.”

Jefferson and the Vikings are set to take on the host Rams at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, giving him an opportunity to continue his All-Pro campaign.
