Mike Evans ties Jerry Rice’s record with 11th consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season.

Mike Evans’ Streak of Consistency

Mike Evans, now 31, began his streak of consecutive 1,000-yard seasons as a 21-year-old rookie in 2014. He has long surpassed Randy Moss’ record for the most in a row to begin a career, logging his seventh straight 1,000-yard season in 2020.

One of the most impressive aspects of Evans’ career has been his durability. Prior to the 2024 season, he had played fewer than 15 games only once, in 2019 due to a hamstring injury. This season, a hamstring ailment sidelined him for three games, putting his 1,000-yard streak in jeopardy. However, he returned in Week 12 and continued his climb towards another 1,000-yard year, making it a weekly topic in the NFL world.

Evans’ run of consistent statistical splendor has now reached 11 straight seasons, a mark matched only by the wide receiver widely regarded as the greatest to ever play.
