Michael B. Jordan’s Childhood Dream Marvel Role Just Became Possible

Michael B. Jordan, the star of Black Panther, has long held a special place in his heart for T’Challa, the king of Wakanda. As a child, Jordan had always wanted to play the role of Black Panther, according to an interview in Marvel’s Black Panther: The Official Movie Special Book. However, he ended up playing the villainous Erik Killmonger in the 2018 film, a role that earned him acclaim and praise.

With the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, the rules of the multiverse may have changed, allowing Jordan to potentially reprise his role as T’Challa. This new development could give him a second shot at playing the hero he had always dreamed of portraying.

In the past, Jordan had played a superhero in the 2015 film Fantastic Four as Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch. However, he never got to portray T’Challa, which remained a long-standing goal for him.

Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU has opened up new possibilities for actors to take on multiple roles, including characters that were previously played by someone else. This change in the multiverse rules could allow Michael B. Jordan to finally get his chance to play T’Challa, a role that has been his childhood dream.
