Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons Expected to Play Despite Illness
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is expected to play in the Sunday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Parsons was listed as questionable for Week 16 after popping up on the injury report on Friday with an illness. He did not participate in Friday’s practice.
Parsons has been one of the bright spots in a tough season for the Cowboys, who have been dealing with injuries to key players. The 12th overall pick from the 2021 draft has missed four games earlier this season due to a high ankle sprain in Week 4. Despite his availability for Sunday’s game, Parsons has also been discussing his future with the team. He has stated that he would like to sign a long-term extension before free agency kicks off in March.
