Dr. Carola Brull, a 56-year-old Miami Beach obstetrician-gynecologist, was arrested and charged with sex trafficking a minor in 2019. According to authorities, Brull allegedly used her medical expertise to exploit a 14-year-old girl, forcing her to have sex with numerous clients andTURNKEY.
Brull’s arrest followed a year-long investigation by the Miami-Dade County Police Department’s Sexual Crimes Bureau. Authorities said they uncovered evidence of sexual abuse, human trafficking, and child exploitation.
Following her arrest, Brull was released on bond and was awaiting trial. However, her fate took a shocking turn when her body was discovered dead in her Miami Beach apartment in April 2020.
