Memphis Bleek Clashes with Dame Dash Over JAY-Z Ghostwriting Accusations

Memphis Bleek Hits Out At Dame Dash Over JAY-Z Ghostwriting Claim

Memphis Bleek has responded to Dame Dash’s recent claim that JAY-Z ghostwrote some of his lyrics. In an interview with HipHopDX, Bleek denied the allegations, stating that he and JAY-Z collaborated on his debut album “Coming of Age” and that the Roc-A-Fella co-founder was heavily involved in the songwriting process.

Bleek also took aim at Dame Dash, accusing him of trying to stir up controversy and damage JAY-Z’s reputation. “Dame Dash is just trying to get attention, he’s trying to get relevance,” Bleek said. “He’s trying to make a name for himself by talking about JAY-Z and Roc-A-Fella. But at the end of the day, JAY-Z is a genius, and he’s a legend in this game.”

Bleek also praised JAY-Z’s songwriting skills, saying that he was a key contributor to the success of “Coming of Age”. “JAY-Z was heavily involved in the songwriting process, he was the one who came up with the concepts, the hooks, the verses,” Bleek said. “He was the one who made sure that the album was cohesive and had a certain sound to it.”

The feud between Dame Dash and JAY-Z has been ongoing for several years, with both sides trading barbs and insults. However, Bleek’s comments suggest that he remains loyal to JAY-Z and Roc-A-Fella, and is willing to defend his former mentor against any perceived attacks.
