Mark Zuckerberg vows to take severe action, including firing, against Meta employees who leak internal information.

Zuckerberg Threatens to Fire META Leakers, Says Leaked Memo is “Propaganda”

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has issued a warning to employees who leak internal documents and information about the company. In a memo obtained by CNBC, Zuckerberg threatened to fire any employee found to be responsible for leaking confidential information.

The memo, which was reportedly sent to Meta employees, stated that the company takes the leaking of internal documents very seriously and will take “swift and severe” action against anyone found to be responsible. Zuckerberg claimed that the leaked documents are often “propaganda” intended to harm the company’s reputation and that Meta will not tolerate such behavior.

The memo did not specify what kind of punishment employees could face if they are found to be leaking information, but it made it clear that the company is taking the issue very seriously. Meta has been the subject of several high-profile leaks in recent months, including a report by The Wall Street Journal that alleged the company had been aware of the potential for its platforms to be used to spread misinformation.

Zuckerberg’s memo was seen as a response to these leaks and a warning to employees that the company will not tolerate any behavior that could harm its reputation. It is unclear how many employees have been fired as a result of leaking information, but the memo made it clear that the company is taking the issue very seriously.
