Man Uses GPS Tracker to Coincidentally Run Into Woman.

FLORIDA MAN ARRESTED FOR HIDING GPS TRACKER ON VICTIM’S CAR

A 22-year-old man from Florida, Tyler Michael Strack, has been arrested and charged with a felony for allegedly hiding a GPS tracker on the car of a female victim in an attempt to rekindle a past sexual relationship.

According to a criminal complaint, Strack purchased a Cube brand GPS tracker from Best Buy and installed it on the woman’s car. The victim discovered the device last year and contacted police, who used subpoenas to link Strack to the purchase and an email address provided upon purchase.

During police questioning, Strack admitted to purchasing and installing the tracker, claiming he did so in an attempt to “run into” the victim. The victim told police that she had a brief sexual relationship with Strack several years ago, but there had been no further contact since then.

Strack was arrested and booked into the county jail, but was released after posting a $5000 bond. This is his first arrest for a serious crime, as his previous offenses were limited to traffic infractions.
