A 20-year-old male model, Dynus Saxon, has been charged with the stabbing death of a 35-year-old man, Kadeem Grant, in New York City. Saxon was arraigned and charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The stabbing occurred on November 10 in a Mott Haven apartment building, where police found Grant with a stab wound to the chest.
Saxon was found with a large bandage on his right hand, which prosecutors said was an injury sustained during the stabbing incident. A motive for the stabbing has not been shared by prosecutors.
At the scene of the stabbing, a resident described the victim as “super bloody,” with a large amount of blood in the lobby. Saxon was arrested and is being held without bail until his next court date on December 3.
Saxon has been modeling for several years and has published his work on his Instagram account, which was deactivated on Tuesday. He was previously represented by ONE Management, but the agency has since cut ties with him.
