Main Street America Prepped for Trump’s Economic Plan, GOP Rep Claims

Main Street America is “ready” for President-elect Donald Trump’s economic agenda, according to a Republican congressman.

“We’re ready for a pro-growth, pro-jobs agenda, and we think that’s what the American people are ready for,” Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” program.

Chabot, who serves as chairman of the House Small Business Committee, said Trump’s plan to cut taxes and regulations will help boost the economy and create jobs.

“I think what the president-elect is talking about, which is cutting taxes, cutting regulations, and increasing our energy production, is a winning formula for economic growth and job creation,” Chabot said.

He also praised Trump’s plan to increase infrastructure spending, saying it will help modernize the country’s roads and bridges.

“Infrastructure is a key component of our economy, and we need to make sure we’re investing in it to keep our country competitive,” Chabot said.

Chabot’s comments come as Trump prepares to take office and implement his economic agenda. The president-elect has vowed to create 25 million new jobs and boost economic growth, and has proposed a series of measures to achieve those goals, including cutting taxes, reducing regulations, and increasing infrastructure spending.
