Lil Baby Admits Michael Rubin Hugs Jokes Bother Him
Rapper Lil Baby has opened up about his new friendship with Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin, revealing that his frequent hugs have been a source of amusement for him. In an interview with Nightline, Lil Baby shared that while he appreciates Rubin’s enthusiasm, the constant displays of affection can be a bit much.
“He’s always hugging me, always got me smothered in hugs,” Lil Baby said with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Man, I got it, I got it, I got it.’ But he’s just a cool dude, you know what I’m sayin’? He’s a good dude.”
Despite the occasional annoyance, Lil Baby sees the daily facial hair shearing that precedes each encounter as a sign of their strong bond. “It’s like, we got a certain connection, you know what I’m sayin’? He’s a real one, he’s my real one, and I respect him for that.”
