Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson Passes Michael Vick for Most Yards Rushing by a Quarterback in NFL History

Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens achieved a notable milestone on Wednesday, passing Michael Vick for the most yards rushing by a quarterback in NFL history. Jackson accomplished this feat on a 6-yard run in the third quarter against the Houston Texans. He had 87 yards rushing with about six minutes left in the third quarter, giving him a total of 6,110 yards and surpassing Vick, who accumulated 6,109 yards in his 13-year career.

In addition to his historical achievement, Jackson also threw two touchdown passes and had a 48-yard scoring run, helping his team build a significant lead. The Ravens went on to lead 31-2 and brought out backup quarterback Josh Johnson to close out the game.

With this win and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the day, the Ravens have reclaimed the lead in the AFC North. They will have the opportunity to win the division for the second consecutive year when they host the Cleveland Browns next week.
