For Each Game in the 2024 NFL Season, Tom Brady Awards LFG Player of the Game

In week 16, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson took home the LFG Player of the Game for a pivotal win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens’ victory keeps their hopes of claiming the AFC North for a second straight season alive, as they moved into a tie for first place at 10-5. Jackson completed 15 of 23 passes for 207 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception with a 115.4 passer rating, adding 22 rushing yards in the victory.

The win was a well-rounded performance by Baltimore, who outgained the Steelers 418-315 in total yards and also ran for 220 yards. Ravens safety Marlon Humphrey also had a standout game, returning an interception for a 37-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

The Ravens’ ability to adapt has been key to their success, with quarterback Lamar Jackson crediting their week-to-week preparation and team practices. “Just competing with each other at practice, just treating it like a game, trying to keep our bodies fresh,” Jackson said.

The victory means the Ravens will still need to win one of their final two games to secure the #1 seed in the AFC. They have a tough test on Christmas Day against the Houston Texans, and will look to continue their strong play to give themselves a chance to secure the top spot.
