Retirement Life Hasn’t Been Easy for Jason Kelce: ‘Busier Than Ever’
Retirement has not come easily to Jason Kelce, the former NFL player. He has been busy, to say the least. Despite hanging up his cleats after 13 seasons, Kelce is likely to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, he is busier than ever, juggling various commitments on the sidelines.
As an analyst for Monday Night Football on ESPN, Kelce is often on the road, which keeps him away from home. He will host a late-night show next month on the network, and he co-hosts a podcast with his brother, Travis. His wife, Kylie, has been handling the challenges of raising their three daughters, with a fourth on the way. Despite having a schedule, Kylie says she sees her husband less now than when he was playing football.
“I make sure I’m covered,” Kylie said on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “He’s not watching the kids. He’s working… He’s working so hard and grinding right now… I just make sure that someone else is there to make up the difference.” Jason is often away for meetings, leaving Kylie to care for the children.
After losing the Super Bowl, Kelce was set to host “Saturday Night Live,” but his stint didn’t receive a warm welcome from Kylie, according to an Amazon Prime documentary. The couple recently attended the ACC Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe, where they teed off on the golf course. Despite the interviewer’s busy schedule, Kylee remains supportive, saying, “He won’t be watching the kids. I think he’s doing meetings.”
