Key Russian propagandist falls into coma amidst secessionist claims in Alaska.

Russian State TV Host Tigran Keosayan Falls into Deep Coma

Tigran Keosayan, a 59-year-old Russian state TV host and prominent Kremlin propagandist, has fallen into a deep coma, according to his wife, Margarita Simonyan. Keosayan was hospitalized at the beginning of December and has experienced “clinical death” due to heart problems.

Keosayan is known for his inflammatory statements, including suggesting that Alaska secede from the United States and join Russia. He made this suggestion during a broadcast in March 2024, stating that “secession from the United States is half the battle. The main thing is to join Russia correctly.”

Keosayan has also been sanctioned by several countries, including those in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, for supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of the Russian state-controlled broadcaster RT, confirmed her husband’s condition in a post on Telegram, writing that he had survived clinical death and was in a coma. She asked those who love Keosayan to pray for him.

The circumstances surrounding why Keosayan fell into a coma and whether he will recover are unknown at this time.
