Karine Jean-Pierre Faces Flak for Boasting About the White House Communications Team.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced backlash from conservative social media users this week after sharing a photo of the White House communications team, calling them the “best team in the business.” Many critics rejected the claim, accusing the press secretary of lying on behalf of President Biden throughout his time in office.

The photo, posted to Jean-Pierre’s social media account, featured her and around a dozen members of her staff smiling and standing next to President Biden. The caption read, “Here’s to the best team in the business. I couldn’t do it without you. Let’s run through the tape! #thewestwing #POTUS #WhiteHouse.”

However, the post was met with a storm of criticism from conservative users, who accused Jean-Pierre and her team of repeatedly lying about President Biden’s health, mental fitness, and other issues.

Washington Times columnist Tim Murtaugh wrote, “This ‘best team in the business’ lied to the world about the mental & physical fitness of the president and, ultimately, failed. Their work led to Trump’s huge win, which was a complete repudiation of everything they did in the most important jobs they’ll ever have.”

Conservative radio host Michael Berry trashed Jean-Pierre and her team, saying, “Dumb and dumber. And dumber. And even dumber. And shockingly even dumber than that. And . . .”

Other conservative pundits, including The Free Press columnist Eli Lake, The Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross, and Fox News columnist David Marcus, also weighed in, criticizing Jean-Pierre and her team for what they saw as a long history of dishonesty.

RedState.com writer Bonchie said, “I keep waiting for her to exhibit some semblance of shame, but she just doesn’t have it in her,” while The Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway declared, “There is not an easier job in the universe than being press secretary for a Democrat. And yet somehow y’all still failed.”
