Exclusive: Trio of Judges Sound Off on Shocking Support for Suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO Murderer

A trio of judges from the show “Tribunal Justice” expressed shock and concern over the outpouring of support for Luigi Mangione, the suspected murderer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Despite the cold-blooded nature of his alleged crime, Mangione has found supporters across the country, with fan groups popping up on the internet and even “Saturday Night Live” receiving backlash when the audience cheered for him during a live taping.

“I was a little surprised by the outward support that he received online, something that we haven’t seen before,” said Judge Adam Levy, son of Judge Judy. “However, after giving it some more thought, I most certainly understand the frustration that people have with the health industry at-large.”

Tanya Acker, host of “The Tanya Acker Show” podcast, echoed Levy’s sentiments, saying, “I’m really disturbed by how some folks have sort of made a hero of a murderer… Unless you are then going to sanction killing your boss, who only acquired a certain type of insurance, or killing politicians who have put certain policies in place, unless you’re going to go down that road, people just need to stop. This was a cold-blooded killing, and it should be treated as such.”

Patricia DiMango, the third judge on the show, also weighed in, describing Mangione as a strange enigma whose background did not suggest he’d one day turn into a cold-blooded killer. She believes the fascination with Mangione’s message has more to do with his appearance and being a messenger for others who are frustrated with the health care industry.

The judges said they understand the frustration that people have with the health care industry, but stressed that taking extreme measures, such as murder, is not the solution. Levy suggested that the system needs to change and public officials need to be held accountable for their conduct, but not to such an extreme extent.

The second season of “Tribunal Justice” premieres on Prime Video on January 27, featuring a variety of cases, including domestic abuse situations.
