Fresh off his engagement to pop star Hailee Steinfeld, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had to deal with the harsh conditions of a lake-effect snowstorm on Sunday night as he led the team to a dominant 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
With the win, the Bills clinched the AFC East division for the fifth straight season and sent their seven-game winning streak to 10 wins on the season.
Allen was unstoppable, throwing for 148 yards and a touchdown, adding 18 rushing yards, and uniquely, catching a touchdown in the process. He became the first quarterback since the merger to throw for a touchdown, run for a touchdown, and catch a touchdown in a single game.
Running backs James Cook and Ray Davis also had strong performances, with Cook scoring on a 65-yard touchdown run and Davis tucking in from 5 yards out. The 49ers, on the other hand, struggled to get any momentum amidst the snowy conditions, with quarterback Brock Purdy failing to reach 100 yards passing.
The loss leaves San Francisco with a 5-7 record and facing an uphill battle to turn their season around. The Bills, meanwhile, will look to keep their winning streak alive as they head into the final stretch of the season.
