Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, is hoping to bring home a Super Bowl ring this year, but he’s already got another type of ring to celebrate. The 27-year-old quarterback proposed to his girlfriend, singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld, last week during the team’s bye week.
The romantic proposal took place on a waterside lawn, surrounded by candles and a flower arch. Allen got down on one knee and popped the question, and the couple shared the special moment on their Instagram accounts with a joint post captioned with the date of their engagement, sandwiched between two infinity emojis.
The two have been dating since May 2023, and Allen’s teammate, Dion Dawkins, has previously spoken about how much the quarterback loves Steinfeld. The Bills are currently 9-2 this season, and Allen is in the running for MVP with his impressive stats, including a 64% completion rate, 2,543 yards, and 18 touchdowns.
Despite the excitement of his engagement, Allen will be back on the field this Sunday as the Bills take on the San Francisco 49ers, with a winter storm expected to hit the area.
