Jordan Love cleared to start vs. Eagles in Sunday’s wild-card game after removing elbow injury from report.

When the Green Bay Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs, health will be a crucial factor for quarterback Jordan Love. This season, Love has dealt with a series of injuries, including a knee ailment he suffered in the teams’ earlier meeting, which caused him to not finish the game. He then missed a pair of games due to a MCL sprain, and later played through a groin injury.

Despite these setbacks, Love still managed to put up respectable numbers this season, averaging 225.9 passing yards per game with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions over 15 starts. In his playoff debut last season, Love led the Packers to a stunning upset win over the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

This time around, the Packers will be looking to repeat that success as they face the Eagles, who also won the NFC East. As the No. 7 seed, Green Bay will need to find a way to upend the No. 2 seed Philadelphia team in their matchup at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. With Love healthy, the Packers will be looking to make history once again.
