Jets Stick with Struggling Aaron Rodgers as Starting QB

Aaron Rodgers Will Remain Jets’ Starting QB Despite Disappointing Season

New York Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich has announced that Aaron Rodgers will remain the team’s starting quarterback despite speculation that he could be benched in a disappointing season.

Ulbrich expressed his confidence in Rodgers, saying, “We have great belief in Aaron, we really do,” and that he gives the Jets their best chance to win. This decision comes after a recent loss to the Seattle Seahawks, where Rodgers went 21 of 39 for 185 yards with two touchdown passes and an interception returned for a touchdown.

The loss has led some fans and media to question whether the Jets might be better off with veteran backup Tyrod Taylor instead of Rodgers. However, Ulbrich stated that Rodgers is still their quarterback until further notice, saying, “He’s our quarterback.”

The decision to stick with Rodgers is not necessarily week-to-week, with Ulbrich assuring that Rogers will remain the starter going forward, saying, “No, he’s our quarterback.” The Jets will face AFC East rival Dolphins in Miami on Sunday.
