The New York Jets didn’t participate in Week 12, but they still managed to remain in the spotlight. Last weekend, a number of reports emerged concerning the future of Aaron Rodgers, a 40-year-old quarterback. In response, interim coach Jeff Ulbrich provided some insight on the situation, stating that the team does not have plans to suspend the quarterback, noting that he appears to be in better health following the bye.
Ulbrich emphasized to reporters that while Rodgers’ current state is still subject to interpretation, he appeared to be healthier than he had in about a month. With this in mind, Ulbrich expressed his excitement about what this new development might look like, stating, “A healthy Aaron Rodgers is the Aaron Rodgers we all love.”
