JAY-Z’s Lawyer Says Tony Buzbee Pressured Woman To Accuse Diddy
A lawyer for JAY-Z has accused Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing Shannade Clarke, of pressuring her to accuse Sean “Diddy” Combs of rape. The claim was made in a trial brief filed by Alex Spiro, JAY-Z’s lawyer, in a New York court.
According to the brief, Buzbee may have “intentionally manipulated” Clarke to make false accusations against Diddy, and Spiro is seeking to exclude any evidence that is seen as potentially tainted by Buzbee’s actions. Spiro’s goal is to show that the evidence that may have been gathered by Buzbee is unreliable and should not be presented to the jury.
