Jay-Z and Beyoncé walk the red carpet with daughter Blue Ivy amid sexual assault allegations.

[Jay-Z and Beyoncé Made a Rare Red Carpet Appearance with Blue Ivy Amidst Allegations of Sexual Assault

Jay-Z and Beyoncé stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” on Monday night, alongside their 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The family, who are rarely seen on the red carpet together, attended the event a day after allegations of sexual assault surfaced against Jay-Z.

Blue Ivy, who voices Kiara in the movie, was the star of the night, with her parents cheering her on and posing for photos with her and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. The movie is a prequel to “The Lion King,” telling the origin story of Mufasa.

The allegations against Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, were made by a woman who claims she was 13 years old when she was allegedly assaulted by Carter and Sean “Diddy” Combs at an after party in 2000. The woman, who is identified as Jane Doe, alleges that Carter raped her first, followed by Combs.

In a statement, Carter denied the allegations, calling them “so heinous in nature” and implored Jane Doe to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil lawsuit. Carter’s attorneys have also filed a motion asking the judge to require Jane Doe to reveal her identity or dismiss the lawsuit.

Jane Doe’s attorneys have accused Carter of orchestrating a conspiracy of harassment, bullying, and intimidation against them and their families in an attempt to silence her from naming Jay-Z. Carter has responded to the allegations, calling the mediation request a “blackmail attempt” and claiming that the lawyer, Tony Buzbee, has a pattern of making “these type of theatrics!”

Jay-Z’s statement also addressed his wife, Beyoncé, and their children, saying that they will have to explain the allegations to their young daughter and mourn the loss of innocence. CNN has reached out to Beyoncé for comment.
