“They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce” is set to premiere on ESPN on January 3, with the former NFL center stepping into the world of late-night television. The show will run for five Friday nights until February 1, starting at 1 a.m. ET.
In preparation for his new venture, Jason Kelce has been seeking advice from a longtime late-night host. He recently appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and revealed that Kimmel has given him “tons of advice” on how to make his show a success. Kelce has also expressed his admiration for Kimmel, calling him “one of the best in the business for a reason.”
Kelce’s brother, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, has also weighed in on the matter, saying, “He’s got a lot of advice from Jimmy Kimmel, who’s one of the best in the business for a reason. He got a chance to meet Jimmy over the summer and go through some of the ins and outs of how to run a late-night show.”
In addition to his work on “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” Kelce has been keeping busy this year, appearing on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” “College GameDay,” and his own podcast, “New Heights,” with his brother Travis. His wife, Kylie Kelce, is also set to launch her own podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.”
