Jared Verse takes a jab at Eagles fans ahead of playoff game, saying “I hate Eagles fans”.

Can the Rams Beat the Eagles?

The Los Angeles Rams are gearing up to face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round, and Rams rookie linebacker Jared Verse is making his feelings about the Eagles fan base abundantly clear. Speaking with the Los Angeles Times, Verse bluntly stated, “I hate Eagles fans. They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans.” Verse, who attended high school in Pennsylvania, revealed that even seeing the Eagles team colors gets a reaction out of him, causing him to feel genuinely upset and hot.

The Rams and Eagles faced off in Week 12, with the Eagles dominating 37-20. Saquon Barkley ran wild, amassing 302 scrimmage yards, including 255 rushing yards with two touchdowns. Verse said he even heard heckling Eagles fans despite wearing headphones, and it was his first time playing.

Verse’s anger towards Eagles fans may serve him well in the upcoming matchup, as he’s been playing well in the regular season. He’s on the shortlist to potentially win defensive rookie of the year, with 4.5 sacks, 66 total tackles, and a Pro Bowl appearance. The Rams and Eagles will face off on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, and Verse is sure to hear the noise from Eagles fans.
