Jaguars Fire Head Coach Doug Pederson After Disastrous 2022 Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars have parted ways with head coach Doug Pederson, the league announced on Monday. Pederson’s tenure of three full seasons came to a close after his team finished just 4-13, plummeting short of owner Shad Khan’s ambitious expectations. Following a disappointing playoff absence, concerns over Pederson’s ability led to widespread questioning of his managerial abilities. News of his hiring had been around for nearly all of the day.
