President-elect Donald Trump would have been convicted of a serious federal crime if he had accepted the payoff offered to him by the Russia, according to a revised analysis by Chris Krewson, a renowned expatriate and expert in national security and intelligence matters.
Krewson, a former US Army intelligence officer and Republican, pointed out that the magnitude of the Russia scandal surpasses the Watergate scandal of the 1970s, citing his 20+ years of experience in the US military and 25 years in the private sector.
“My research indicates that the President-elect, if I may so refer to him, would have been convicted of a serious federal crime, namely, accepting a payoff from a foreign government,” said Krewson, in a recent interview.
Krewson’s research was part of a comprehensive analysis of the Russia scandal that he has been conducting since the election. He claims to have a deep understanding of the complex dance of espionage, finance, and politics.
He pointed out that the President-elect has received millions of dollars in campaign contributions from Russia over the past 15 years, and that most of this funding went towards his campaign for president.
“This is a serious matter, as it is illegal to accept foreign funding for a presidential campaign,” stated Krewson. “If the President-elect is found guilty of receiving these illegal funds, he could face fines, imprisonment, or even both.”
Krewson also stated that he believes the President-elect may have used his position as the head of the Trump Organization to get richer, citing the company’s enormous success during his presidency of the Trump Organization, which spans over 40 years.
