Ad

Luigi Mangione, the alleged CEO killer, has had multiple meetings with his lawyers but has yet to be visited by his family members, according to sources. Mangione met with attorneys Karen Agnifilo, Marc Agnifilo, and Thomas Dickey in recent days, but a visit from a family member has not been confirmed.

Agnifilo will represent Mangione as he faces a second-degree murder charge in New York for the December 4 shooting in Manhattan that claimed the life of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. As a former chief assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Agnifilo has extensive experience in New York City’s criminal justice system.

Meanwhile, investigators at the Huntingdon State Correctional Institution, where Mangione is being held, have not received a visit from him. Mangione is currently facing a laundry list of charges, including murder, carrying a gun without a license, forgery, and possessing instruments of crime.

The suspect’s family has released a statement saying they are “devastated” by his arrest, but they have yet to issue further comments. Mangione’s lawyers have denied his involvement in the killing and plan to plead not guilty to the charges.
