Israeli stocks end trading session lower, Tel Aviv 35 index down 0.79%.



Israel Stocks Fall on Sunday Session

The Israel stock market closed lower on Sunday, with losses in the telecommunications, technology, and retail sectors leading the decline. The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) saw its benchmark index fall by 0.79%, or 240.43 points, to close at 30,119.17.

Among the gainers, Camtek Ltd rose 0.98% to 26,900.00, while Tower Semiconductor Ltd added 0.56% to 17,890.00. Harel climbed 0.55% to 5,100.00, reaching an all-time high.

However, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd fell 3.89% to 5,973.00, while Electra Ltd and Shapir Engineering Industry declined 3.43% and 3.32%, respectively.

At the close, 309 stocks fell, 144 rose, and 85 remained unchanged. Crude oil prices rose 1.81% to $71.29 a barrel, while Brent oil futures climbed 1.47% to $74.49 a barrel. The US Dollar Index Futures added 0.04% to 106.68.

The USD/ILS exchange rate rose 0.56% to 3.60, while the EUR/ILS gained 1.07% to 3.78.
