Baltimore Ravens Corner Roots for Anyone But Kansas City Chiefs in Playoffs

Baltimore Ravens corner Marlon Humphrey has gone from battling the Buffalo Bills to potentially rooting for them. For the rest of the 2024 playoffs, his cheering play is simple: anyone but the Kansas City Chiefs. Humphrey, who wrote his sentiments on social media, is a self-proclaimed hater, stating, “I have no reason for saying this other than being a hater. The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this.”

Humphrey isn’t alone in his sentiment, with many non-Chiefs fans rooting for the team to lose. With success comes haters, and the Chiefs, as back-to-back Super Bowl winners, have officially entered the “Hate the Dynasty” phase, a phenomenon not unfamiliar to the New England Patriots.

As for Humphrey’s motivations, while he may secretly wish the Baltimore Ravens were in the position to take down Patrick Mahomes and the dynasty, he is aware that he’s simply hating. The sheer number of teams and fans vying to knock off the Chiefs should be a badge of honor for the franchise.
