Sunday NFL Matchups Determine Playoff Berths and Seeding
This weekend’s NFL matches will decide several division titles and playoff seeding.
In the NFC North, the Detroit Lions will host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Detroit clinches the NFC North division title and the NFC’s No. 1 seed, lone first-round bye and home-field advantage if they win their Week 17 game against the San Francisco 49ers. However, if they lose to the 49ers, the Vikings would clinch the division title and the top seed with a Lions loss or a tie.
The Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers meet on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS in a matchup with NFC South title implications. The Falcons clinch the division title with a win.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX, and Tampa Bay will clinch the NFC South division title with either a win or a tie.
