Government’s PRIDE Day Post Sparks Outrage in Effort to Celebrate Pansexuality and Panromanticism.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Faces Backlash Over Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day Post

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a post on Sunday celebrating Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day, which sparked backlash from some individuals. The post read, “Today on Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day, everyone deserves to feel seen, respected and supported—no matter who they love. Create a world where everyone feels proud to be themselves!”

Stephen Miller, who will serve in the upcoming administration, responded to the post by saying, “Sanity is returning to HHS in 43 days.” Caitlyn Jenner, a Fox News contributor, replied to Miller, calling the post “absurd.” Elon Musk also responded, saying he was “just confused” about what the post meant.

The backlash against the HHS post was largely driven by individuals who are looking forward to the change in presidential administrations next month. Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., tweeted, “Glad this type of bulls— will end on Jan 20! Can’t come soon enough.” Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., noted that the current administration is “nothing but activists … not public servants. January 20 can’t get here soon enough.”

Former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., also weighed in, posting, “Liberals are concerned @RobertKennedyJr might make this agency weird?” The post from HHS was met with criticism from some individuals, who are eager for a change in the administration.
