LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau has a grand plan for the $125 million he’s receiving from his Saudi Arabian bosses. He has bought 200 acres of land in his hometown, Modesto, California, and plans to expand the town by 30%. The 31-year-old gol star revealed his plan in an interview on “The Joe Pomp Show”.

DeChambeau says he has been working on the project for a couple of years and is at the stage where he is getting permits to build a whole community and increase the size of his hometown. The project is a three-phase process to build a golf community and a multisport complex center, featuring a driving range, a golf course, a residential community center, and more.

The golf star plans to complete the project within 12-15 months, and his intention is to create a prominent golf presence in the community, attracting not just golfers but also people to the central valley. DeChambeau credits LIV Golf for making this possible, saying it has given him the economic viability to undertake the project.

DeChambeau was one of the many American golfers who joined the Saudi-backed league, which has been aggressively pursues the sport’s biggest names. His massive salary from LIV Golf has allowed him to pursue this development project, which he believes will have a significant impact on his hometown and the region.

DeChambeau is not only a successful golfer but also a close friend of President Donald Trump’s, and has even invited him to play with him in a video on his YouTube channel. He has no regrets about his decision to join LIV Golf and has consistently emphasized the entertainment aspect of the league.
