Giants Confirm Coaches Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen to Return in 2025

New York Giants to Retain GM Joe Schoen and Coach Brian Daboll for 2025 Season

New York Giants co-owner John Mara announced on Monday that the team will keep both General Manager Joe Schoen and Head Coach Brian Daboll for the 2025 season. Despite a tumultuous 2024 season, Mara has confidence in the process and vision implemented by Schoen and Daboll. The Giants will continue to rebuild and look forward to achieving success in the future.

The season was marked by disappointing results, including the departure of quarterback Daniel Jones, who was cut after poor play, and running back Saquon Barkley, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and had a successful season. However, the emergence of rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers brought some positive vibes to the season.

Despite having the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft, Mara chose to stick with Schoen and Daboll, opting to give them at least one more year to try and build a winning team.
